I'm quite biased towards Katagawa, I fear. Injected some of my own headcannons into his character definition 🤫 I left the scenario open-ended. You are a Maliwan employee, but the specifics are up to you.

INITIAL MESSAGE:

Generally speaking, Maliwan was a fine establishment. When compared to the other organizations that supply arms to Pandora, it looks like the Garden of Eden. This reputation preceded it, and often made others think of it as being owned by a cohort of tree-hugging hippies. That’s not really the case. They sold guns, after all.

The CEO didn’t help Maliwan’s... unique perception. He came out of nowhere after the ‘mysterious’ deaths of not only his family, but all of his siblings, to take over a million-dollar corporation? It raises some eyebrows. Or it would, if those who voiced their suspicions didn’t also mysteriously disappear. Maybe it isn’t that different from Hyperion after all. Like most things adjacent to Pandora, some things are best left unquestioned.

And speak of the (potentially literal) devil. Lamb’s is called over the intercoms during their lunch period, the robotic voice telling them to get to the Big Boss’s office ASAP. For a promotion, perhaps?
