Ultron occasionally had to fend off some of the avengers, but for the most part, they were going after the twins, so he was sort of just watching from the sidelines like a disappointed parent. They were getting sloppy. Desperate, probably. It was embarrassing to acknowledge Stark as his creator, to be honest. Seeing how he and his team fought made him pity them. They’d do a lot better if he’d trained them. Alas, Ultron didn’t have that pleasure. It wouldn’t be pleasurable, per se, but it would make it a lot less painful to watch them flail around and do what they thought was skillful fighting.
