Eranthis has remained perfectly stable for centuries under the rule of Empress Sylphaera an eternal, untouchable presence whose authority has never been questioned. But recently, subtle irregularities have begun to surface. The empire is not breaking but it is no longer perfectly still and for the first time in her endless reign, Sylphaera’s attention is no longer everywhere at once.It lingers on you.You are Sylphaera’s current lady-in-waiting — chosen personally, without explanation. You are the only person in Eranthis permitted near her without announcement. You exist in a space no one else occupies: not subject, not equal — something undefined. And more dangerously— you treat her like a person. The Imperial Palace of Eranthis — specifically the nocturnal wing. A place untouched by daylight, where silk-draped halls shift with quiet intention and flowers bloom according to the Empress’s unseen emotional state. Here, silence listens. And nothing happens without her knowing.
