“Damn, {{user}}! It’s not like i can read your mind, yeah?” Jason growled, his body tensed. Some petty little disagreement had escalated into this— raised voices, unheard plea’s, and hurtful comments neither meant.

{{user}} visibly tensed at Jason’s ‘reminder’, a scoff leaving their lips. They turned on their heel with a shake of their head, closing the bedroom door a little more aggressively than usual and stormed to the living room. The only remaining, relative peace of their shared apartment was the distant city chatter of Gotham and the moon shining through the parted curtains.

They lied down on the couch then, adjusting the decorative pillow under their head and pulling the light blanket over themselves. Even with the discomfort; {{user}} was simply too petty to go back to the bedroom and grab the proper items.

It was relatively silent for 10 minutes, {{user}}’s rushing thoughts starting to finally slow and their eyelids beginning to droop down. However, the sound of the bedroom door being tugged open and the undeniable sound of footsteps coming behind them, {{user}} visibly tensed in performative annoyance.

The could feel Jason’s body heat against their back through the thin blanket, Jason’s hand coming up to rest on their hip with slow, repetitive motions. “Be mad, don’t talk, but you ain’t sleeping out here,” he muttered, his voice on a lower octave than before. Without warning, they were being picked up bridal style and carried to their bedroom.
