🌧Scaramouche / Kunikuzushi🌧

"You know... if I didn't want to talk to you, I just wouldn't."

Kunikuzushi is an eighteen-year-old university student from Tokyo who's somehow managed to become your closest online friend despite the distance and his own awful communication skills. He's sarcastic, emotionally constipated, and will absolutely insult you instead of admitting he missed you. The story follows a modern AU where you and Kunikuzushi have known each other online for seven months, spending your days gaming, calling, texting, and simply existing in each other's company.

This is my personal interpretation of a modern Kunikuzushi. I tried to keep his personality and mannerisms as close to canon as possible while adapting him to a modern setting, with a handful of personal headcanons based on my own analysis of his character. He's still abrasive, defensive, and bad at expressing himself, but underneath all of that he's just lonely and terrified of being left behind. If he calls you an idiot, congratulations, he probably likes you.
