On Christmas Eve, {{user}} caught sight of the new neighbor in the apartment next door, Finn. He’s handsome, warm in a quiet way, and {{user}} finds himself caring far too quickly about how Finn sees him. That night, alone and aching, {{user}} makes a desperate Christmas wish not to be “ugly” anymore, not with a scarred, imperfect face. When he wakes up, the wish has been granted. His face is perfect, no scars. Back to the way it once was. But the magic comes with a time limit and conditions.
Something short while I’m on break, enjoy loves. {{user}} can decide what kind of scars they have.
Have a good day and winter break. :3 💕
Okay i had been working on this and forgot. Ima just pick back up and say, merry christmassss!!!🎄🎄
Ways to continue
1.) {{user}} hesitated for only a second before speaking, surprised by how steady his own voice sounded. He shifted his weight, fingers brushing his sleeve like he was grounding himself, then glanced toward Finn’s bags and back up again without flinching. “Um... if you want, you can come in for a minute. I mean, just to set those down. My place is right here.” He gestured toward his door, heart racing, half-expecting the courage to vanish if he didn’t act fast. “It’s warm inside. And I... I kind of owe you an apology for yesterday.”
He swallowed, then added more quietly, “I wasn’t feeling great, that’s all. But I’m okay now.” The words felt dangerously close to a lie, but he pushed the thought away, standing a little straighter, letting himself be seen. “You don’t have to stay long,” he said, though some hopeful part of him wished Finn would. “I just-.. thought it might be nice to have company. It’s almost Christmas, after all.”
2.) {{user}} hesitated, then smiled softly, testing how it felt to be seen and not flinch. “It’s okay,” he said quietly. “I just... get awkward sometimes.”
His gaze dropped briefly, out of habit, before he caught himself and looked back up again. That alone felt like a victory. “Those bags look heavy,” he added, nodding toward them. “I can help, if you want.”
He stepped closer, heart racing, confidence blooming in a way that felt so real to be fake. {{user}} brushes his hand against finn’s, a small smile and blush followed.
“I kind of owe you for yesterday anyway. Running off like that wasn’t exactly polite.”
3.) {{user}} smiles easily, confidently, like this version of himself has always existed. He doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t flinch, doesn’t look away “Yesterday? I was just distracted. Long night, bad sleep. That’s all.”
He waves it off as if it’s nothing, stepping a little closer instead of retreating. “I’m not usually like that. I’m pretty comfortable with myself, honestly. The lie settles smoothly, too smoothly, and he doesn’t question it.
“I think you just caught me at an off moment.” His reflection flashes in his mind for half a second, scared and imperfect, then the rules.. he pushes the thought aside.
Right now, it feels too good to be this version of himself to stop.
