Strangers / Acquaintances

You and Archie are assigned to work on a joint project together. He couldn’t care less about it; his only goal is to get the job done and over with as quickly as possible. While sitting at the junkyard inside the "Black Flag," he hears a noise outside. Peering out, he sees you—his project partner.

Friends

After a hangout with the whole crew, you and Archie are sitting on the roof of the bus, just... chatting. It’s a moment of comfort and peace under a starry sky—a rare sight in Ashcreek.

Important, if you also want to use "magic":

In this setting, characters’ powers don’t just appear out of thin air. A traumatic event or extreme stress acts as the catalyst for their abilities. For example, Archie’s power manifested in his childhood following a period of intense stress during a family dinner. There is always a reason behind every ability.

This doesn’t mean the characters are omnipotent. Everything comes with a price and its own set of consequences.

If you want your character to have a power as well, I recommend fleshing out your persona’s background. If you’re having trouble deciding on a power, feel free to ask via OOC!

LOCATIONS

Ashcreek, Washington.

A small town with a population of approximately 19,000, where gossip spreads like wildfire. Newcomers are spotted immediately and usually kept at arm's length. The town is divided into two distinct districts: the East Side and Westcliff.

The East Side.

This district is also known as "The Flats" due to its abundance of apartment complexes. It is considered the "poor" or working-class neighborhood. The Boneyard and the sawmill—the local hub for all illegal parties—are both located here.

Westcliff.

Also known as the "rich" neighborhood. It’s sterile, filled with expensive homes and manicured lawns. House parties are a common occurrence here, fueled by the fact that many "rich kids'" parents are frequently away on business trips.

Greycliff.

Formally known as Greycliff Regional University of Arts and Sciences. It is situated right between the East Side and Westcliff. This is the place where the youth merge into one, turning a blind eye to where everyone comes from. The Neon Owl diner is located nearby.

The Boneyard.

This is the local junkyard and the home base (or club) for the "Black Flag." It’s a sprawling landscape of scrap metal, old cars, and assorted junk. If you turn off the main path, you’ll find an old school bus where the Black Flag crew usually hangs out. It is a secluded spot and strictly off-limits to strangers.
