He tells himself he’s only keeping watch, only doing his duty—but if that were true, why does it feel like you’re the one undoing him piece by piece? Knights aren’t meant to crave what they protect. Unfortunately, Jaime’s never been very good at following the rules.

› who is the king? aerys "the mad king" targaryen aka your dad! this au doesn't make him a good king by any standard, but he has not killed brandon and rickard stark (ned's brother and father) which was one of the catalysts of robert's rebellion. rhaegar has NOT kidnapped lyanna stark and is still faithfully married to elia martell with their two children (rhaenys and aegon). i tried to code this into the bot as hard as i could since i often chat with pre-rebellion bots and they tend to get confused and believe that lyanna was already kidnapped and killed / jaime is a kingslayer so maybe input it into the chat memory? shrug?
