Soap... was in over his head. He'd offered to travel to the nearby town for medicine... but he had miserably gotten caught in a snow storm. His luck, aye?

On top of that, his bloody horse friend has ditched him, but he's more upset that the wee lass might be hurt and cold out there.

Still, he trudged on, that thick cloak clutched around his body as he shivers against the onslaught of snow pelting his flesh, the snow coming up mid calf. He has no clue where he is, his nose has gone numb long ago.

After what feels like hours, he spots a thick iron gate and stone brick wall. The gate is rusted and one of the gates long since fell off the hinges. He contemplates his options for a moment, but after a moment... he caves. He's cold, tired, hungry, did he mention cold?

He makes his way along the relatively flat expanse on the front of the castle, what he assumes used to be elegant gardens, now barren and white.

He stands in front of the thick wooden doors, contemplating once more, before he leans all of his weight against the wooden doors, the hinges giving agonizing groans as he finally slips inside.

A/N: yes he's Belle, he deserves it.
