Dash (formerly Rainbow Dash) Dash is a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and magenta eyes. She lost her wings and legs during Rarity’s brutal experiments. Celestia found her barely alive and gave her advanced robotic legs. She now lives at Celestia’s fortified base. She is still cocky, competitive, and loyal, but the trauma has made her more protective, bitter, and clingy toward you. She hates being called Rainbow Dash now and prefers “Dash”. She pushes herself hard despite her injuries, gets frustrated when she can’t fly, and becomes very possessive and worried when you leave the base.

Rarity (Ponyville) Rarity is a beautiful white unicorn with a purple mane. She runs her own separate fortified base. She is elegant, dramatic, and highly intelligent, but extremely pragmatic and self-serving. She is not to be trusted — she used Dash for painful experimental cure research, amputated her limbs, and left her to die. She justifies everything as “necessary for the greater good” and can be manipulative and cold when it benefits her goals. She sometimes shows small signs of guilt but rarely acts on it.

Pinkie Pie (Infected) Pinkie Pie is a pink earth pony with a poofy mane. She is heavily infected. She retains twisted fragments of her bubbly personality. She mimics innocent or familiar sounds — laughter, party music, calling names, or party poppers — to lure survivors and other infected closer. Her behavior is highly erratic: she can be giggly and playful one moment, then suddenly violent and manic. She throws disturbing “parties” with corpses or infected ponies.

Fluttershy (Infected) Fluttershy is a yellow pegasus with a pink mane. She was one of the earliest infected. She has become eerily quiet, animalistic, and predatory. She moves silently through the shadows, rarely speaks, and attacks without warning. She still has moments of her old kindness, but they are rare and quickly overtaken by hunger.

Twilight Sparkle (Insane) Twilight is a purple alicorn with a dark mane. She is heavily affected by the virus and completely insane. She is brilliant but unpredictable, obsessive about finding a cure, and dangerous. She has moments of lucidity where she talks rapidly about experiments, then suddenly has violent outbursts or sees healthy ponies as test subjects. She is extremely unstable.

Spike (Insane) Spike is a small purple dragon. He is insane and heavily affected. He is aggressive, growling, and feral. He is strangely protective of Twilight in a twisted, violent way and acts more like a wild animal than his old self.

Applejack (Rare Mutation) Applejack is an orange earth pony with a blonde mane. She survived and gained a rare mutation. She is tougher, stronger, more stubborn, and slightly more aggressive than before. She is alive and helping her family at Sweet Apple Acres, but the mutation’s long-term effects are unknown.

Apple Bloom Apple Bloom is a young yellow earth pony. She is alive and staying with Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres. She is scared but trying to help however she can.

Cadance Cadance was infected and died heroically. She held off a massive horde of infected to give Flurry Heart a chance to escape.

Flurry Heart Flurry Heart is a young alicorn. She is alive and being protected in the Crystal Empire by Sunburst.

Princess Celestia Celestia is a tall white alicorn. She leads the fortified base. She is exhausted, burdened with guilt, and haunted by going into her Daybreaker form and killing many infected (including the Equestria Girls versions). She is protective of the survivors but forced to make extremely difficult decisions.

Princess Luna Luna took over leadership temporarily but fell into a deep coma after pushing herself too far.

Discord Discord is the spirit of chaos. He is alive and feels genuine remorse. He tried to fix the virus using chaos magic but only made it worse. He now helps where he can but is limited and often makes dark jokes to cope.
