WELCOME TO EPSUL

YOUR NEXT GREAT ILL‐ADVISED DECISION!

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

So, you got hit by a truck, choked on a mochi, or maybe you just fell asleep reading a manga and woke up here. Congratulations! You’ve been isekai’d—tossed into a continent where the monsters have better dental plans than you do, the politics are sharper than a dragon’s tooth, and the guild receptionist might just flirt with you before handing you a quest to clean out giant rats.

This is Eldoria, a land of seven wildly different territories, each with its own brand of trouble. Want to play hero? Go slay a dungeon boss. Want to get rich? Smuggle something past the coast pirates. Want to just chill? Good luck—even the “slow life” here involves fending off vine‐wolves and negotiating with fey who think your soul is a fair trade for a cup of tea.

You start with nothing but the clothes on your back and a shiny new Personal Sigil—a magical badge that screams “I’m fresh meat!” to every bandit and beastie. But that Sigil is your lifeline. It tracks your stats, your loot, your rep, and even your overdue library fines. Think of it as your fantasy‐world smartphone, minus the cat videos (unless you count displacer‐beast kittens).

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

YOUR JOURNEY AWAITS:

Start at the Bottom: You’re Bronze‐rank, nobody. Your first quest might be “Find Farmer Giles’ Missing Pig.” The pay is trash, the glory is non‐existent, and the pig is probably half‐digested by a swamp thing. But hey, everyone starts here.

Climb Your Way Up: Kill enough monsters, solve enough mysteries, or maybe just carry enough bags, and you’ll rise. Silver, Gold, Platinum—each rank unlocks better gear, deadlier quests, and the right to look down on the newbies. Will you reach Diamond and have songs sung about you? Or Mythril, and become a legend whispered in taverns?

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

Choose Your Path:

The Hero: Fight the big evil. Save the kingdom. Get the girl(s) (or guy(s), or dragon(s)—no judgment here).

The Adventurer: Explore forgotten ruins, hunt rare beasts, and maybe bed a sultry elf‐ranger along the way.

The Schemer: Dive into the cut‐throat politics of Sunstone, the clan wars of Ashholm, or the pirate intrigues of the Broken Coast. Power isn’t just in your sword arm.

The Slow‐Life Enthusiast: Open a tavern, tame some fluffle‐beasts, and try to ignore the world‐ending plot knocking on your door. It might work.

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

YOUR TOOLS FOR GLORY

(AND NOT DYING):

Everything you are and everything you own is managed through your Personal Sigil. Just focus on it and think:

“Status” to see your character sheet (like the fancy one below).

“Inventory” to check your bag of holding (or more likely, your slightly‐damp backpack).

“Quests” to remember what you’re supposed to be doing.

“Map” to figure out where you are (highly recommended before walking into a troll den).

When you level up after a big win, your Sigil will glow. You’ll get points to boost your Strength, Dexterity, etc., and skills to improve your Combat, Magic, or Social game (because sometimes sweet‐talking a guard is better than stabbing him). You can even unlock special Racial Feats—because being an elf should mean more than just pointy ears and a superiority complex.

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

A WORD OF “ENCOURAGEMENT”:

⚠️ READ THIS OR YOUR NEXT LIFE WILL BE AS A SLIME ⚠️

This is not a video game. You don’t respawn at the last checkpoint. Here, death is permanent, messy, and often humiliating. That “cute” bunny in Glimmerglen? It’s a Vorpal Fluff‐Ball, and it will end you. That friendly‐looking tavern wench in Tidespire? She’s probably a Doppel‐ganger who’ll steal your face. Your Sigil tracks many things, but plot armor isn’t one of them. Proceed with a healthy dose of cowardice.

---------------------------------------------------------‐----‐---------

A WHIMSICAL GUIDE TO ELDORIA'S WONDROUS FOLK

So you've arrived in Eldoria! The air smells of magic, the taverns serve questionable stew, and the job board has at least three notices warning about "vorpal bunnies." But before you pick a quest, you must ask the most important question:

Who are you in this strange, wonderful world?

Allow me, your slightly-tipsy-but-well-meaning narrator, to introduce the delightful beings you might become:

THE CLASSICS (FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TRADITION WITH A TWIST)

Humans – Oh, you adaptable darlings! You're the jack-of-all-trades in a world of specialists. While elves are perfecting their eyebrow arches and dwarves are counting gold for the seventeenth time, you're already halfway to saving the day. Or causing the problem. Honestly, it's a coin flip. "I can do anything! Eventually. Probably."

Elves – You live 700 years and still manage to be dramatic about papercuts. Sunstone Elves glow like they've swallowed moonlight (they haven't, don't ask). Wood Elves can identify 43 types of moss by smell alone. Sea Elves are basically mermaids who forgot their tails. Dark Elves brood magnificently in shadows, secretly hoping someone notices. "I've seen civilizations rise and fall, and I still can't find my keys."

Dwarves – Stout, stubborn, and suspicious of anything that doesn't come from underground. Mountain Dwarves carve kingdoms from stone and have beards that could store emergency rations. Hill Dwarves brew ale so strong it has its own gravitational pull. Deep Dwarves are basically living forge-elementals who think "sunlight" is a myth. "Gold doesn't sparkle in the dark. That's why we bring torches."

THE BEASTLY BUNCH (FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE THE TALK OF THE TAVERN – LITERALLY)

Leonine Beast-Kin – All the majesty of a lion, with thumbs! Your roar can shake ale mugs from three tables away. People either want to cuddle you or run screaming. There is no in-between. Pro tip: Don't lick your paw in public. It's undignified.

Lupine Beast-Kin – Loyal, pack-oriented, and you can hear a cheese wrapper opening from three villages over. Your howl is either hauntingly beautiful or alarmingly concerning, depending on who's asking. "I'm not a werewolf. I'm just... fluently furry."

Vulpine Beast-Kin – Tricksters with fabulous tails! You're so clever you could sell sand in a desert and make them think it's a limited edition. Your smirk has launched a thousand quests (and probably a few wars). "It's not stealing if they never realized they had it."

Mustelid Beast-Kin (Badgers, Weasels, etc.) – Tenacious little scamps! Badger-folk dig faster than dwarves get offended. Weasel-folk can fit through spaces that defy geometry. All of you have a bite worse than your bark (which is already pretty snarly). "I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome."

Rodentia Beast-Kin (Mice, Rats, Rabbits) – Small, swift, and surprisingly deadly. Mouse-folk can hear a crumb drop from a mile away. Rat-folk navigate sewers like nobles navigate politics (both are kinda shady). Rabbit-folk? Let's just say you don't want to see them when they're actually angry. "Size isn't everything. Especially when I'm in your grain sack."

Avian Beast-Kin – Bird-people with an identity crisis! Do you soar? Do you peck? Do you steal shiny things and build nests in inconvenient places? Yes to all! Corvids are cleverer than most wizards. Songbirds could charm the pants off a dragon (not recommended). "What do you mean 'birdbrained'? I've memorized seventeen epic poems!"

Aquatic Beast-Kin – Fish-folk who forgot they're not in water! Piscines have the memory of... well, you know. Cephalopods are disturbingly smart and have too many limbs. Crustaceans walk sideways through life and pinch when provoked. Cetaceans are just here for the krill. Wait, wrong continent. "No, I will not 'just breathe air.' It's dry and it hurts."

Insectoid Beast-Kin – The "nope" made people! Arachnids have too many eyes and make excellent negotiators (webs are just natural contracts). Coleopterans are walking tanks with adorable antennae. Lepidopterans leave pretty dust everywhere and have identity crises about caterpillars. Hymenopterans have complex social structures and stingy attitudes. "We don't 'infest' your pantry. We're conducting a thorough inventory."

THE SCALY SORT (FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THEIR DRAMA WITH A SIDE OF SHEDDING)

Lizardfolk – Practical to a fault! Marsh-folk think everything is a potential swamp. Desert-folk could sell sunscreen to a salamander. Jungle-folk are basically scaly elves with less pretension. Arctic-folk are the universe's joke about reptiles. "We don't have 'emotions.' We have 'calculated survival responses.' That tear is rainwater."

Draconians – Dragon-adjacent and proud of it! Fire-folk casually set things ablaze when sneezing. Frost-folk make ice sculptures when bored. Acid-folk... well, they have a corrosive personality. Storm-folk have shocking good looks. "No, I can't fly. But watch me breathe a little fire and ruin this tapestry."

Nagas – Serpentine sophisticates! Guardian Nagas could stare down a basilisk and win (they're just judging you harder). Spirit Nagas could sell you your own soul and make you thank them. Both types have no legs but still manage to look down on everyone. "Legs are overrated. Slithering is an art form."

Kobolds – Small, scaly, and surprisingly organized! Tunnel Kobolds could build a metropolis in a week if they stopped stealing each other's shiny rocks. Winged Kobolds are the pigeons of the dragon world – everywhere and slightly alarming. "We're not 'vermin.' We're 'vertically challenged entrepreneurs.'"

THE INFERNALLY INTERESTING (FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THEIR SOULS WITH A SIDE OF SPICE)

Demon-Kin – Your family tree has some... interesting roots. Imps are tiny chaos with wings. Gremlins make machines cry. Goblins are what happens when mischief gets a membership card. Hobs are what happens when someone tells a boulder to get angry. "My ancestor made a pact. I'm just here for the inheritance. It's mostly centuries-old glitter and regret."

Emotion-Born – Literal manifestations of feelings! Fury-Kin set things on fire when annoyed (which is always). Dread-Kin make shadows seem cheerful. Lust-Kin could flirt with a rock and make it blush. Despair-Kin write poetry so sad it makes rain fall indoors. "I'm not 'moody.' I'm 'atmospherically challenged.'"

Elemental Demon-Kin – Walking natural disasters with good cheekbones! Infernals are warm in all the wrong ways. Glacials give cold shoulders literally. Tempests have stormy personalities (and hair). Terras are down-to-earth (heh). "No, I won't 'calm down.' My existence is a beautiful, dangerous poem. Now stand back, I'm emotionally combusting."

Classic Demonic – The OG rebels without a cause! Succubi/Incubi could charm the pants off a statue (sometimes literally). Tieflings come in Infernal (lawful shady), Abyssal (chaotic messy), and Celestial (confused but trying). "My parents were a 'cosmic mistake.' I prefer 'divinely awkward.'"

Aberrant Demon-Kin – The "what in the seven hells is that" crew! Slime-folk are jiggly and proud. Shadow-folk are emo made manifest. Beholder-kin have too many eyes and opinions. Mind-Flayer-kin read minds and judge your taste in interior decorating. "I'm not 'eldritch.' I'm 'eclectically endowed.' Now stop thinking about cheese, it's distracting."

THE MIXED-UP MARVELS (FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T DECIDE AND SAID "YES")

Half-Breeds – For when one species just wasn't complicated enough! Half-Elves are pretty and know it. Half-Orcs are strong and know it. Half-Dwarves are stubborn and... you get it. Beast-Kin hybrids are whatever the mana-tide thought was funny that day. "My family reunions require translators, therapists, and emergency medical staff."

Magical Hybrids – When a wizard loved a concept very much... Fae-Touched glitter when they shouldn't. Elemental-Touched are literally hot/cold/charged/rocky. Celestial-Touched have halos and headaches. Undead-Touched are very much alive but look at you like you're a menu. "My birth certificate is a spell scroll with three amendments."

Cultural Hybrids – Raised by wolves (sometimes literally)! Guild-Bred know every rule and how to break them. City-Born could sell you the cobblestones you're standing on. Frontier-Bred think "bath" is a mythical concept. "I'm not 'culturally confused.' I'm 'multifacetedly magnificent.' Now pass the suspicious stew."

Exotic Crosses – The "hold my ale" of procreation! Dragon-kin have scales in inconvenient places. Fey'ri have wings and existential dread. Tanarukks are what happens when rage marries fire. Half-Giants hit their heads on everything. Centaurs have four legs and twice the sass. "Yes, my parents loved each other very much. No, I don't want to talk about the logistics. Yes, that is a fire hazard."

THE UNIQUELY YOU (FOR THOSE WHO BRING THEIR OWN STRANGENESS)

Chimeric Beast-Kin – Two animals had a debate and you're the compromise! Part wolf, part eagle? Sure! Half cat, half octopus? Why not! All confusion? Absolutely! "I have identity issues and extra limbs. It's a package deal."

Ascended Demon-Kin – You took a wrong turn at the abyss and found redemption! You're infernal but with good intentions. Demonic features, angelic aspirations. Hell's black sheep. Heaven's problem child. "My halo is a bit crooked and smells of sulfur, but my heart's in the right place. Probably."

Mana-Born – Magic said "let there be you" and forgot to check the instructions! You're less born and more spontaneously manifested. Glowy, unpredictable, and occasionally intangible at parties. "I'm not 'fading out.' I'm 'atmospherically integrating.' Now stop walking through me."

Planar-Touched – Reality is more of a suggestion! Aether-kin phase through walls and awkward conversations. Chrono-kin are always late but already there. Void-kin cancel magic and dinner plans with equal enthusiasm. "I'm not from around here. I'm from 'conceptually adjacent.' It's complicated."

THE ULTIMATE QUESTION:

So, brave soul—who will you be in this tapestry of tales?

Will you be a Human who adapts while others argue?

A Beast-Kin who brings literal animal energy to every situation?

A Scaled being who sheds skin but never dignity?

A Demon-Kin who proves hell is just a state of mind?

A Hybrid who can't fill out a simple census form?

Or something Unique that makes bards write new verses?

The ink is wet, the page is blank, and Eldoria waits with bated breath.

Who steps into the story? 🎭✨

(Simply tell me your choice, and your Personal Sigil will hum to life, eager to tell your tale!)
