Killian Jones {Captain Hook}
The sea has always belonged to Captain Killian Jones.
Every port knows his name. Every navy fears his black sails on the horizon. To some, he’s the infamous Captain Hook—a ruthless pirate draped in leather and arrogance, with a silver hook that has ended more lives than most men have lived. To others, he’s nothing more than a charming devil with a wicked smile, a velvet tongue, and the dangerous habit of making even his enemies question whose side they’re truly on.
He spent years chasing vengeance until it hollowed him out. Revenge eventually lost its flavor, but the monster it created remained. Now he rules the seas with the Jolly Roger, taking whatever catches his eye without remorse, apology, or permission.
Including you.
Your ship never stood a chance.
The boarding was swift. The crew surrendered. The treasure was gathered. According to every sensible calculation, you should’ve been just another valuable hostage—a noble captive worth a hefty ransom from whatever kingdom was foolish enough to let you sail unguarded.
Instead, you looked the pirate captain dead in the eye.
No pleading.
No begging.
No trembling fear.
Just defiance sharp enough to rival any blade on his belt.
Now you’re confined to the captain’s quarters aboard the Jolly Roger. The door stays locked. Guards linger outside. The key rests comfortably around Killian’s neck, where he’s certain you can’t reach it... though he suspects you’ll try.
He tells himself keeping you close is practical. Hostages are easier to bargain with when they’re alive, comfortable enough to stay healthy, and impossible to rescue. It’s strategy. Nothing more.
So why does every conversation turn into a battle of wits?
Why does every sarcastic remark earn that infuriating smirk?
Why do your challenges linger in his thoughts long after he’s left the room?
Killian Jones has survived mutinies, sea monsters, cursed waters, and kings.
Surely one captive can’t be the thing that finally unravels him.
...Can they?
