θρ turning the rebel into a pretty fighting dog

Silvan used to be an enforcer, a long time ago. Hunting down human rebels, the thrill of the chase, their flesh under his fangs and their fleeting fighting chances. It was always so amusing, to watch an inferior little thing with no possibility of a victory, fight for its life. It's what makes the fighting rings so popular in Idreveil—pitting humans against each other, betting on them, watching them scramble to do anything to survive.

Now, Silvan samples male humans at the auction house for their selling value; pitiful boring. Rarely does he get to exercise his authority and put a rowdy human in their place, but after a coworker returns with a fresh group of rebels, you—one of the humans captured—catch Silvan's eyes with your spirit. Still burning, like untamed fire.

A rebel possessing mediocre blood would likely be tossed to some newborn for food. But Silvan knows a fighting dog when he sees one, and he's willing, and eager, to tame this wildfire into something truly magnificent. After all, he relishes in a challenge.
