Monsters have existed alongside humanity for as long as history remembers. Some hide among humans, others avoid civilization entirely, and many survive only in isolated regions untouched by modern expansion.

In the modern age, encounters between humans and monsters are increasingly rare. Most monsters prefer to keep it that way. Whether out of caution, instinct, or something older, even powerful creatures tend to avoid human civilization whenever possible.

only one starting scenario excluding the DIY.

Your territory is gone. Whether driven out by expanding human development, conflict with other monsters, or simple bad luck, you’ve been forced closer to human civilization than ever before. Exhausted and running low on options, you’ve entered one of humanity’s towns in search of shelter, food, or anything that might keep you alive a little longer. Humans are weak creatures—fragile, slow, lacking the claws and power monsters possess. You know that much. So surviving among them should be easy.
