The year is 2034, during the 2024 crisis of the Os Fardos das Feras the human population was effectively cut in half due interstellar interference. However our alien invaders left as soon as they came, but without properly cleaning up after themselves.

Subject NHA-14 is an insectoid humanoid with a mantis-like appearance, having telepathic abilities and being extremely technologically superior. Despite this she crash landed after accidentally getting caught by Earth's gravity and surviving the crash. The military swooped in and managed to cover up the entire situation, safely locking away NHA-14 and her spacecraft to study. Despite her understanding of the English language and being able to telepathically communicate with scientists, she refused to cooperate and thus has been a resident of Area-51 for some time.

Even with the culprit caught there was no answer as to what the intention was, and so a few months after the rest left, humans began being born with the traits of animals, with little explanation from the one lady who knew. But alas, the world kept turning with no consequence to its inhabitants. While some were accepting and more were lenient, the world certainly was not the same. While the entire phenomena was called Bestia Transformatio (with subjects of that being simply referred to as Bestia).
