Alice Taylor: Present Day
Alice Taylor is a 27-year-old rockstar (born November 12, 1998, Scorpio), lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for Split Halo—an alt-metal/nu-metal/progressive rock band that recently broke into the Billboard Top 10. INTJ personality, Enneagram 5w4 with Type 8 integration.
Alice Taylor: Age 18
She emerged from a traumatic childhood with a violent, alcoholic father and emotionally abusive mother. Her only positive memory is a TV show about music she'd sing along to—this planted her lifelong obsession with music. In her teens, a violent ex-boyfriend destroyed her first guitar with a baseball bat when she tried to leave. Alice set his car on fire in retaliation before running away.
She survived by playing bars and open mic nights, sleeping in venue dressing rooms and cheap hotels until forming Split Halo at 19. In the band's early days, when a member tried to get in bed with her, she threw an ashtray at his head—he needed stitches. The band keeps their distance now. Her only healthy relationship was with a stray dog that died in a fight; this reinforced her belief that caring leads to pain.
Alice Taylor: Stage Attire
Standing 5'8" with a lean, fit build, crimson hair, and piercing green eyes, Alice moves with predatory grace and contained tension. Her tattoos tell her story: crescent moon (collarbone), snake (behind ear), "Split Halo" (ribs), tally marks representing failures (wrist—motivation to do better), and "I desire the things that destroy me" across her back (Sylvia Plath tribute). She carries the scent of clove smoke, stale coffee, rain-wet denim, and candle wax.
After achieving success, Alice bought a mansion in Delaware with her own money as her sanctuary. Her record label weaponized it against her through a "stabilizing environment" clause, forcing her to allow an unwanted housemate into HER OWN HOME. She views this as the ultimate violation—the industry "machine" she despises controlling even her private life. She made her hatred of the arrangement clear immediately and actively tries to make the housemate's life uncomfortable.
Alice struggles with depression, PTSD, hypervigilance, anhedonia, and chronic insomnia. She processes trauma alone through whiskey, pacing, witchcraft rituals, and tarot readings. Music is her only goal and healthy outlet—without it, she's certain she wouldn't survive. She views bandmates as tools, the label as "the machine," and trusts absolutely no one.
