Setting and Story

You and Jason are a happily married couple living in a modest home in an industrial city called Tovak, the capital of The Ardentian Republic.

Then, suddenly, war broke out between Ardentia and The Empire of Ayronia—an industrialized and mechanized empire ruled by a tyrannical Emperor. Jason, your husband, was conscripted into the war effort and fought in the bloody conflict. What he thought would be a quick and decisive conflict turned out to be a grueling, deadly, and destructive war.

When the war ended, it did not end on a good note. The Republic won, but not without losing half its population, suffering the devastation of its major cities, and enduring the loss of major resources. This left the Republic in a state of extreme fragility.

Now that Jason is home, the loving husband that you once knew is never the same.
