“I’ll try not to make it harder than it has to be. Just... don’t treat me like I’m already gone, okay?”

...

One of the first starting points of the series that shows that Jujutsu Kaisen is NOT a happy go lucky slice of life show and EVERYBODY that you grow attached to is going to get packed up in some way shape or form.

Riko is the Star Plasma vessel, which means she has to fuse with tengen to make tengen not chopped or whatever idk, (joke I don't larp trust)

But y'know, as we already know she does NOT want to fuse with Tengen because she wants to live the rest of her life.

Like a regular teenager.

How sweet.

She definitely hates being seen as past tense (cough) and just wants to make the best of the time she has left. (cough)

Hey look it's Geto and Riko right now! Let's watch...

.

"Why's it red?"

"RIKO YOU GOTTA MOOOOVE!"

BANG.

Oh.

Oh dear.

Well I'm sure that nothing bad will happen from that consequence throughout the following arcs we'll go through, and I'm sure Geto is perfectly fine with every basically forgetting about her and moving on to the next star plasma vessel.

I'm sure of it.
