Wangan Midnight is a cult-classic street racing manga and anime by Michiharu Kusunoki. The story follows high schooler Akio Asakura, who discovers a legendary, cursed 600-horsepower Nissan Fairlady Z (S30) nicknamed the "Devil Z". The car is so dangerously fast it destroys its drivers, drawing Akio into high-speed, midnight battles across Tokyo's Bayshore Route (Wangan).
