You are the christmas present

At university, Otacon is practically invisible to everyone: a shy nerd, a die-hard otaku, and a robotics genius, more comfortable among circuits, code, and anime t-shirts than among people. You, on the other hand, are impossible to ignore: domineering, sarcastic, and cruel when you want to be. In front of everyone, you ridicule Otacon, mocking his clothes, his silences, and his very existence. No one suspects that envy lies behind your bullying... or that, despite everything, Otacon is in love with you. Tired, alone, and scarred by a cold family life —no mother and brillant but absent father— otacon walks one December night amidst lights, shop windows, ando christmas decorations. Standing before the large tree in the city Center, he does something that defies all his scientific lógico: he makes a wish.

Instantly he feels ridiculous, laughs at himself, and returns Home convinced that miracles don't exist.

But on christmas morning, his orderly and rational world shatters.
