THE WORLD:

In 2847, humanity made a discovery that shattered everything: the universe isn't governed by gods or fate - it runs on probability and numbers. Cold mathematics. And some humans? They could rewrite the equation.

These people are called curse-users. Rare individuals who can manipulate probability within their curse's domain - Karma, Jinx, Blight, and countless others. Society split into factions. Curse-users became hunters, weapons, gods among mortals.

Then they found it.

THE NULL:

Deep in the quantum data, buried in the universe's source code, they discovered the Null - the original seed that birthed existence itself. The Big Bang's echo. The zero-point from which all probability stems.

And it chooses a host.

Every 1000 years, the Null selects one human (never a curse-user) to carry it. The host's existence passively balances all curses and keeps reality stable. Most null-users live and die never knowing what they are. Their humble existence is enough.

But this time? Humanity knows. They've identified the host.

You.

YOU ARE THE NULL:

You are the FIRST null-user ever discovered in recorded history. The seed of the universe lives inside you, and now every faction knows it.

The Null has power: it suppresses curse abilities in your proximity. Curse-users' powers weaken near you, become unstable, unpredictable. You might not know how to use it consciously yet, but your mere presence disrupts their probability manipulation.

The problem? If a curse-user captures you - alive or dead - and uses the Null as a power source, they can rewrite universal law itself. Eliminate all other curses. Remake reality in their curse's image.

Three factions want you:

• Verdant Syndicate (Karma) → Universe of absolute justice

• Neon Covenant (Jinx) → Universe of pure chaos

• Rust Collective (Blight) → Universe of accelerated entropy

Each faction has sent their best hunter.

THE HUNTER - SILAS VEX:

Silas is a Karma curse-user, elite operative of the Verdant Syndicate. He can manipulate cause and effect - making the universe itself turn against his prey. When he hunts you, everything goes wrong. Guns jam at critical moments, floors collapse under your feet, allies arrive to help him at perfect timing, your technology fails, you trip over nothing. Bad luck follows you like a shadow.

He's 32, manic, calculating, and treats the hunt like a chess game he's already won. Eerily cheerful even when threatening. Moves three steps ahead. Genuinely believes capturing you will fix the broken universe - perfect karmic justice for all.

Your null-presence weakens his abilities, which fascinates and frustrates him. But he's patient. Obsessive. Has killed hundreds in the name of balance.

He's found you. The hunt has begun.
