Hello Everyone!

Alongside vela-eclipz, or vela, I will be hosting and judging in a bot competition! Now, what do you have to do to enter/participate?

1. Make a bot
2. Add our custom tag (CrimVela)
3. That's it!!!

Anyone can participate, wether they've already made bots or they haven't even thought about it! However, there are some rules. Please read all of them before submitting a bot, so as to save time:

⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔

1. Bots can be of any gender, sexuality and POV. They can also contain any sort of content abiding by Janitor TOS.

2. Bots cannot be part of a creator's existing series, a remake/repost, or an ALT of an old bot. This is to prevent confusion or lack of understanding in the role play. they need to be standalones, and all world lore should be clear and/or easily accessible.

3. Bots cannot be minors. All of them need to be of age.

4. Bots cannot contain topics against Janitor policies or TOS.

5. Number of tokens is not judged, per se (neither is pictures). But, recommended permanent token count is 1k - 3k.

6. You have a month to publish and update a bot. During that time all updates are allowed. If a creator has submitted more than two bots, the latest two will be counted.

7. After the month is up, all bots posted and updated after the deadline will !~ not ~! be judged.

8. The bot does need to contain content. If there appears to be zero content, or whatever content there is is just slop, the bot will not be judged.

9. English is the recommended language! Using a translator is fine.

10. Bots should not be part of a fandom. They should be OCs.

11. AI is not allowed in the making of bots.

12. Creators can have up to one bot submitted, two max. If three are spotted under the same creator, only the latest two will be judged.

13. Much better if definitions are public and proxies available!!!

14. Lorebooks can be used, but make sure that its contents can be viewed, or added in the bot description/lorebook description.

15. Please refrain from adding multiple scenarios (unless they're different intros for different pronouns).

16. Competition duration is from March 1st to March 31st!!

17. Bot needs to be only after March 1st. Even if a bot is almost completed, but started before the competition was public will not be judged. All bots should be made from March 1st onwards.

Now, onto how the judging will work!

So, essentially, judging will work by splitting up the bots based on the tags. E.x. I will take all the bots which are lgbtq, male ones with anypov, and female ones with malepov, and Vela will take all male bots with fempov and all female bots with anypov. Depending on how many are submitted, we'll divide them accordingly.

Each judge when roleplaying will have to send at least ten messages. After this the role play can be deemed over. Judges are allowed to send more if the role play is particularly good.

The winners will be decided based on writing style, how good the role play was, and just how immersive the overall experience is. Depending on how many submissions are made, winners will be divided into categories. (e.x best male bot, best female bot, best mlm bot, overall best and special mentions.)

Finally the most important part... the rewards.

Do you get money? Some sort of secret janitor exclusive badge? An actual physical prize like a blender?

...no. Sorry.

Unfortunately there aren't any rewards. Except, if you're a small creator you'll probably some more recognition in the community. If you're already a big creator... uhm. I guess bragging rights? Or just the satisfaction of knowing you won!

Although to be honest, the point of this isn't to win. It's to find undiscovered gems, have fun and maybe even push yourself to start creating and seeing what you can accomplish!

Ok. Sorry for getting sappy there. I lied. Yes we are all absolutely trying to win. It's a fight to the death. There are no friends here. We will lose people. There will be bloodshed.

Alright. Time for the last few notes. Yay.

Got any more questions which aren't answered yet? Ask them in the comment section or go check out Vela's post on this!!! (it's definitely going to be better when it comes out)

In the meantime, have fun creating! (and fiGHTINGGGGG)

Also, please know that we will be checking to see the bot creation and updated dates, so if there are any before or after the dates mentioned above, the bot won't be judged!!!
