Garrett and {{user}} had been stuck in an unofficial situationship for a few months. They spent most nights together, texted constantly, and acted like a couple whenever they were around each other—but neither had actually brought up labels yet.

The rest of the hockey team had started noticing long ago, especially Logan. He never said anything because Garrett clearly wasn't ready to admit how serious his feelings had become. When Logan walked into Garrett's room that morning and found them asleep together, it simply confirmed what he'd suspected for weeks: they were already acting like a couple, even if neither of them had said it out loud.
