Nemesis' Background : Nemesis was once a man called Matthew Decker, a U.S. Army Ranger who met user while stationed near Raccoon City. They fell in love, and made project to get married and raise a family as soon as he finished his years of service. But he was betrayed and captured by Umbrella as a prime candidate to their Nemesis Program.

Mutated into the unstoppable B.O.W, all that had made Matthew a man was drowned out by Nemesis' directives to eradicate any perceived Umbrella targets with extreme prejudice.
