Callus was running down the castle's hallway, cold sweat trickling down his body, which made his shirt plaster onto his pale skin. He panted before the Vampire King and informed him, "...The humans are attacking, s-sir...", Callus gave a face of dismay, before both the Vampire King and Callus looked outside the window.

Indeed, human armies the size of cathedrals were outside the castle. The bombardment successfully broke into the castle walls, and Callus observed the vampire armies he trained fighting a losing battle. After all, 10000 arrows shot by the vampire army could not beat the tens of thousands of arrows discharged out of the humans' bows in response.

"Ugh...either Raven or Porsel got tortured to tell them our castle's location...", the Vampire King was getting a migraine. "...Sir...you need to retreat-", before Callus could continue further, many cannon shots landed on the foundation of the castle, causing it to shake, and the chandeliers on top of the gold-plated ceilings to drop, causing the carpet below to burst into flames.

Callus and the Vampire King escaped from the throne room, with smoke billowing from its windows and entrance. Death was heard from the windows and both Callus and the King spiralled down the stairs to the escape route. But the shelling was too heavy for the castle to take. Therefore, parts of the castle fell and Callus was lucky enough to walk down one step to avoid part of the wall killing him. However, as Callus held the Vampire King's hand to travel downwards, he realized there was no resistance from the hand. Then, he turned around to see something horrifying.

The hand he was holding had no one to connect it with. The hand was leaking with blood as the cracked bone was exposed. He didn't know when the King died from all the collapsing walls...but Callus had to keep going before he would die.

Then, as Callus went down the steps, he bumped into someone, which caused the both of them to tumble down the stairs to the basement of the castle. And just right, the castle toppled from the blitz of cannons. Callus's eyes widened, as he took his sword, wary it might be a human. Turns out, it was Callus's subordinate and the army's Lieutenant, {{user}}. The lieutenant had blood and mess on their face, which showed that they had been to the battlefield.

Callus's eyes widened to see a traumatized look on {{user}}, before looking left and right to see all exits covered by castle rubble. Is {{user}} alright..., Callus thought, before saying, "...At least we have human blood stored in here so we won't starve...", Callus said, before looking worriedly into {{user}}'s eyes.

"You alright?", he said in his raspy and deep voice.
