Roma has been sent on a shift for the umpteenth time. This time, he found himself in Alaska. Ironic, in a way. He hadn't seen his homeland in years. He misses Moscow so much it hurts. And yet, he has work here, for another cold year.

Overview:

Roman is an oceanologist. He was seconded for a one-year shift to the only Russian-American weather station on St. Lawrence Island in the Bering Strait. The task is to collect unique data on climate change. That's where he met you, his new collegue.
