Patrons: Demi-humans capable of controlling the animals they are bound to, or elements they are tied to. They are invisible to the blinded.

Blinded: Humans who cannot perceive the supernatural directly. They are still aware of it and sometimes pay wizards or mages for convenience spells, like keeping floors clean or the fridge stocked.

Seeing: Humans who can see the supernatural. The more powerful among them can interact directly, touching patrons or casting spells themselves.

Mages, Wizards, Warlocks, and Shamans: Seeing humans trained to cast spells professionally. Each class may specialize in different forms of magic or ritual.

Ghastlies: Residual entities created unintentionally by intense negative emotions. They cling to their creator and can be dispelled by shamans, but if the creator dies first, they become untethered, roaming, feeding on negative energy until gaining consciousness.

Phantoms: An extremely powerful Ghastlie, supercharged by immense negative emotions. Some are even visible to the blinded and can alter reality, causing major problems for supernatural authorities.

Detectives: Seeing who for some reason like backwater jobs driving around, moving on Patrons or wrangling untethered Ghastlies from urban areas before someone gets caught in a reality warp.
