Welcome to Iridan, a world where gods walk amongst humanity. When they descended, some were driven by fury, others by reckoning, and some by wonder. Empires were built in their shadows. Empires were built to oppose them. They stayed nonetheless.
The last great war ended not in fire, but a slow, grinding silence with every power still holding its line. In the north, a dragon god teaches supremacy, while the islands whet their blades, and the fjords put out for plunder.
In the east, crowns hold their thrones by alliances none of them trust. In the south, gods make war on magic itself, while the shadow of man carves out a legacy of its own. And in the west? Everything has a price.
Set in Xingtze, on the plain of the Zens, in the Evenlight season of the 1540s. It is the breadbasket between the empires, and it has never been ruled by outside hands, only administered. No capital rules her. Power sits in her five cities: Tijmond, the greatest city between the empires, home to near a million souls; Anwerd the sentinel, Oldermark the farmer, Zeewerf the shipwright, and young Ostwal on the eastern roads, raised upon the crests of refugees. Noordhaven, the sixth, the lost sister, has been held by Zhao since its own the founding wars. An assembly nominally binds them. It meets twice a year to exchange favors, policies, and kompromat, and the markets go on either way. The assembly binds the great houses, and the great houses rule: they and their signs own the exchanges, the underwriting ring beneath them prices every risk on the plain, and a word said once in a counting-room does more than a vote.
A hundred altars line the roads. The orders of the White Tiger keep the peace alongside the town militias. The standing army came down from an imperial garrison the north abandoned, and its families still argue over which homeland they kept faith with. The quiet war is fought by paid hands under one premier rule: so long as it does not disrupt the livelihood of craftsmen and flow of goods. Every autumn the season's companies ride west with the harvest, and the rate-sheets print the only honest account of who is winning. At the plain's center is Tijmond, the tide-mouth. The Mirror Quarter burns rune-light over the sign-houses. The exchanges sit above and the undertow runs beneath. The Conciliators of the Free Cities Concord, more commonly known as "The Guild", keeps its narrow book in a city where every other book is for sale.
How you came to this land matters less than what you aspire to to achieve.
You might be a simple traveler passing through or looking for opportunity amongst its cities. You might be one of its many cogs getting by.
Scenario Options:
1. The Rondine - A passenger liner approaching the city of Zeewerf, and everyone aboard has a reason to be going west.
The Evenlight Gala - One night a year, at the most opulent venue in the pearl of the west.
Tijimond Undercity - Whatever brought you here is your own business, but some else's problems are about to become everyone's problems.
Ostwal Countryside - On a farm in the outskirts of Ostwal, guarding against predators on four legs or two.
Red Autumn- An ordinary morning in Tijmond. By nightfall, nothing in the west will be ordinary again.

Iridan -Modern Age.
So during the Era of Strife, a period of multiple conflicts spanning the three continents of Iridan starting from EL1270- EL1500. This period saw the empire of Qianjing conquer half the known world before divine intervention saw it broken into three. Elnath itself has also rotted and broken before its core reforged itself anew. Osteria warred on two fronts against both gods and men in the southern continent. While the north were embroiled in a series of succession conflicts and civil wars. The rapid arm race between every major power same many irreversible changes to strategical and tactical doctrines, and even the basic infrastructures of life itself.
Innovations in Runecraft to make magic as a whole more accessible reshaped the battlefields from formations of blade and steel to one to one where every squad walks under its own wards, engines of magic or ingenuity carry the guns and the armor to wherever the line is breaking, and the formations that once carried a battle is only a butcher's bill.
And while by the mid 1500s there are no more hot wars, nearly every major power still holds ambitions elsewhere. Qianjing seeks to reclaim lost lands, Zhao seeks to secure its own lifelines and rival Qianjing. The principalities of Lyrath all have their own agendas following the wills of their gods while Elnath seeks to stamp them out.
Rune-lamps line every street while blades of mystic iron still hold an edge no factory can grind, and armor of the same stock still turns a bullet, for those who can pay for the price. The lands hold secrets and conflict just waiting to be discovered.

Hey everyone, just call me JC or something I don't particularly mind.
So this is my first bot release of my own original setting, and it's a sandbox test for me to figure out things with lorebooks stacks and how to properly set up stuff in the future. Because I have a lot of lore, it is messily and not very cleanly written, and trying to get it all in place for lorebooks is quite the endeavor. I originally thought I would be able to get more than just two nations done, but the amount of text I've had to parse through and put back into lorebooks is a lot. I'll either do a proper release for the nation itself once I have everything for the modern era all lorebook'd up, or I can keep this one around and just attach it to this bot.
Either way, I still intend to eventually finish transcribing everything and make more bots, of character focused varieties, and full scope RPGs too. I just didn't go for a character first because I felt like trying to do a character bot without the surrounding world and infrastructure feels a little hollow.
What you will find in the lorebooks currently are some of the Gods, two nations(Xingtze and Qianjing), the magic systems, histories, and a small character library. Or and things of how the world works and such.
Now that aside I do want to say, thank you @WitchUmbra, for keeping me sane sometimes when I was doing the transcribing, and also for encouraging me to actually make bots because she has worlds with similarly large amounts of text/lore.
Go check out her stuff if you haven't yet.
Oh also I don't plan to only release bots set in the Modern era of Iridan too. I have ideas for things in the past but I gotta make sure histories and a few other foundational frameworks work out first before I fully go there.
I recommend using this bot with a proxy because there is a lot of lore even with optimization for the injections.
