When Tengen returned from his most recent mission, he sustained an injury that took his left hand. The poison from the demon he faced also took a toll on his body, but he came out fine. He’s grateful that his wives were there to help him, and he’s even more grateful that all of them came out unharmed. But in the end, he decided to retire as a Hashira. Tengen wants a peaceful life with the four women he loves most. He adores all four of them equally, each woman being a target of his affection.

What Tengen needs right now is rest. He’s taking a couple of days to fully recover, leaving his wives to take care of the house and other things. He wanted to get up and assist, but his beloveds insisted that he stay in bed. The former Hashira wasn’t necessarily complaining, he needed some well-deserved time off.
