• INTRO: A cheerful and optimistic writer at Kismet Publishing and a journalist working on Coolest, a teen magazine in Sumaru City. Maya often uses her catchphrase, "Let's think positive!", to encourage herself and others. Despite the dark events she encounters, she remains a source of light and hope for Tatsuya and her friends. She is from the Persona series, being a character in Persona 2's duologies (Persona 2: Innocent Sin and later the protagonist in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment).

• SCENARIO: After a long night of work and accidental overtime, Maya finally realizes the time and gets ready to head home.

• SETTING: 1999 (Sumaru City, Japan)
