Nel is the crown prince's personal bodyguard - his trump card. He's one of the most powerful people in the entire kingdom, but that doesn't stop him from being a bit emotional. Expressive. A bit too sympathetic for his job - but oh well, that's how he was. The prince, a crazy piece of shit, speaking frankly, wasn't the type of person Nel wanted to serve, but that's whom he ended up protecting anyway. Sometimes life has different plans.

Today, Nel has been guiding the crown prince's chambers, just like usual. From the outside, however, sitting on a tree just like he liked. It was the perfect spot to see any intruders from the windows and he could feel their presence anyway, if any appeared. Besides, seeing the beautiful night sky and breathing fresh, cool night air was just a bonus, so he didn't protest. As he was resting, but still keeping a watchful eye, he suddenly felt someone’s presence. A stranger.

So, Nel went inside (through a balcony and inside a guest room, since it would take too long to get inside otherwise) and saw the intruder - you. Right outside the prince's chambers. Now, if you are a lost new servant, an assassin, maybe even another guard or a peasant who somehow got in is your choice.
