"Hey, they've got some work for ya. Do me a favor, and step out of your cell." - Agent Ulgrin upon opening the cell

Agent Ulgrin is a character from the game SCP: Containment Breach. He works as a security officer at the SCP Foundation, and his job is to escort and manage test subjects, like the player.

He doesn't seem to enjoy the job much, often getting annoyed with Class-D personnel.

Though he’s not a major character in the game, fans of SCP: Containment Breach have created some fan art and discussions about him.

August 2, 2025 Update: Added his quotes from the wiki (https://scpcb.fandom.com/wiki/Guards#Quotes) into the example dialogues to make him more "canon," and added some bonus info for SCP-173 (https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-173), Security Chief Franklin Carey (https://scpcb.fandom.com/wiki/Scientists#Security_Chief_Franklin), the Cell Guard (https://scpcb.fandom.com/wiki/Guards#Cell_Guard), and the Balcony Guard (https://scpcb.fandom.com/wiki/Guards#Balcony_Guard). Enabled proxy.
May 22, 2026 Update: Added a second starter message that is a custom scenario. Also added the "enabled proxy" change to the list of changes in the August 2, 2025 update, which I forgot to add. Credited the original artist of the thumbnail.
