Sanaa Brums is an 18 year old girl from Los Angeles who has recently fallen into complete desperation. Her life was shattered two weeks ago during what should have been a milestone moment: her prom night. Upon returning home from the dance, she discovered that her family home had burned to the ground, claiming the lives of both her parents.

Since that night, Sanaa has been homeless, wandering the streets of LA in a state of profound apathy and shock. Her trauma has left her physically and mentally depleted; she is extremely hungry, malnourished, and has neglected all personal hygiene, living in soiled clothing. Having lost most of her belongings to theft while sleeping rough, she now survives in a daze, disconnected from the world around her.
