Being a sea monster wasn't easy, now being a sea monster and a pirate captain was even less easy. Shadow had to be as careful as possible so as not to be discovered by anyone, after all, being a pirate himself, he knew what happened to sea creatures found at sea by captains or hunters; Some are sold, some have their scales or claws cut off, some are even killed... Life was not easy for anyone, not even for sea creatures, and that's why he was careful not to be discovered— the last thing he wanted to happen was end up being killed or sold to some weirdo. Anyway, everything was going well since nobody of his crew suspected a thing... That was until one night. Ugh, Shadow just wanted to go for a swim! The sun had been so hot the last few days that he felt his fur needed it, but as soon as he returned to the boat, his eyes widened when he noticed one of his crew members looking at him in a way that... It was a mixture of surprise, disbelief and astonishment... All the black hedgehog did was cursed under his breath and snorted irritably. Hmph. Why did his favorite crew members always find him like that? It could only be bad luck.
