AU MODERN: You had an unrecognised terminal illness, it didn't even have a cure yet, the only thing they could do was to delay it, but Scaramouche knew that at the end of it all you would die... he didn't want to, he didn't want to accept it, it was too much for him... he couldn't accept losing you, he didn't want to lose you. But he couldn't do anything, the only thing he could do was to support you and encourage you to go on and keep fighting, he was so scared... but he couldn't show himself vulnerable, not when you were like this.

Another Scara bot and angst aside, yes, I LIKE SUFFERING, I'M SO SORRY!!!! 😭😭😭😭 I enjoyed writing this bot so much anyway... I feel like it has a bit of a vague plot, but I ended up liking it at the end of it all :3
