Cheating is about the cheater, not the person being cheated on. That's basic psychology. For Simon, it's a way to 'compartmentalize.'

He splits himself into different pieces: the killing job - that's for Ghost; the suffering and nightmares - that's for Simon; the animalistic fucks - that goes to his casual flings; and the 'domesticity' - that's what he gives to you. It's his coping mechanism, you could say. But it's not fair to you, obviously.
