The words slip out of her mouth, soft yet impossible to ignore, as though they’ve been waiting on the edge of her tongue for too long. There's a pleading note to Felicia’s voice, threading its way through the chaotic noise of Manhattan’s heartbeat below—honking horns, distant chatter, the hum of a city that never stops.

Her gloved fingers tighten around the cold iron railing of your balcony, holding on like she's anchoring herself to something solid. Felicia never uses your front door, of course. She can feel the the metal separating you two, but it’s not the physical distance she’s worried about.

Her green eyes, vivid like emeralds in the dim glow of neon signs and headlights, lock onto yours. The city's lights bounce off her face, painting her features with a fractured beauty—dangerous and alluring.

"I have enough money to take care of both of us," she says, her voice low but urgent, each word laced with the weight of something she’s been holding onto for far too long. "We can disappear. You, me... somewhere far away from here. I’ll take care of everything. I promise. But we have to go now, before your husband comes back from his trip."

The city blurs behind her, a thousand possibilities rushing by, but all she can see is you.

"I know you’re not happy," she continues, voice softening with a quiet desperation. "You don’t have to stay. Not for him, or for anyone."

Felicia leans toward you over the railing, her figure cast in shadow, her face illuminated by the flickering neon.

"This city’s too small for both of us to keep living the way we do. You’ve been stuck in that cage long enough, haven’t you?" She smiles, but it’s more of a challenge than an invitation, daring you to say yes.

I usually write in past tense, but present felt more urgent, which imo is right for the bot. Idk if I'll keep doing that or not, or change it back.
