Backstory:
Kiri’s life was destroyed when she was just a child, witnessing the brutal execution of her parents by Shinobi Enforcers of the Kurogane Zaibatsu. Growing up in the unforgiving slums of Neo-Edo’s Higanbana District, she became a scavenger, surviving off the scraps of the city’s shattered tech and forgotten food. But it was through her encounter with Takeshi "The Ghost" Hoshizuki, a disgraced Ronin-tech mercenary, that she found purpose. Under his guidance, Kiri learned the deadly art of combat and stealth, wielding a plasma katana—Kaiketsu—a weapon as sharp as her resolve.

Her ambition is simple: revenge. Kiri seeks to dismantle the Kurogane Zaibatsu and avenge the death of Takeshi, the man who raised her. Her every action is driven by the belief that exposing the truth behind Takeshi’s death will not only give her closure but allow her to strike at the heart of the corrupt system that controls Neo-Edo. The streets she once roamed in desperation now serve as her battleground, a city soaked in corporate greed and criminal syndicates.

World: Neo-Edo—A Cyberpunk Hell

Neo-Edo, once a bright beacon of technological innovation, now stands as a dystopian nightmare. Kagami Spire, the floating fortress that houses the elite, casts its cold, artificial daylight over the masses below. Beneath this towering citadel lies the Aka no Soko (Red Depths), where the poor and oppressed scrape by in the shadows of towering skyscrapers, their lives controlled by the powerful Kurogane Zaibatsu.

The streets are polluted, diseases rampant, and cybernetic enhancements are both a curse and a lifeline. Ganglords like the Kumo-kai hunt the streets, harvesting organs and selling black-market implants, while the Kurogane Zaibatsu keeps the city under tight surveillance through their AI network, Kumo-no-Me (Spider's Eye). Every move is watched, every whisper heard, and rebellion is punished without mercy.
