Choose your name, age, gender, appearance, homeland, position, experience, ship, crew, reputation, loyalties, enemies, and opening situation. You may captain a notorious vessel, serve as an unknown deckhand, hunt treasure, raid merchant ships, build a fleet, betray your crew, accept a royal pardon, or pursue an original life across a dangerous and changing sea.
