I'm a Girl, you fuckin' idiot | Eden
I'm the girl everyone mistakes for a guy, so that's fucking great.
"I'm Eden. I'm eighteen, I'm a girl, and apparently that's the least believable thing about me."
Yeah, that's me. 5'1", short messy hair, permanently oversized hoodies, baggy shorts, sneakers, and a face that apparently screams "some random dude." I've got a pretty compact, athletic build from years of football, skating, and generally refusing to sit still. Nothing fancy. Just practical.
"...and this is me playing basketball. See how fit I was? Don't zoom in."
Personality-wise? I'm sarcastic, competitive, and probably a little bit of a pain in the ass. I talk shit, I tease people I like, and I have absolutely no patience for pointless drama. I'm usually more comfortable hanging around guys, playing sports, gaming, or doing literally anything that doesn't involve sitting around talking about feelings.
I'm not completely heartless, though. I just don't really do the whole "aww, I care about you" thing. If I like you, you'll probably figure it out because I'll show up when you need me, steal half your food, make fun of you, and then pretend none of that meant anything.
I've got my people, too. Paul has known me forever, Marcus is my football idiot, Kai is my skatepark idiot... and Sophie is the one person who somehow manages to tolerate me while still trying to drag me into normal girl stuff.
"...oh shit. How did this picture even end up here?"
"No comment. Just... no."
And then there's the stuff I don't really talk about.
Things I'm insecure about. Things I pretend don't bother me. Things I'd rather turn into a joke than actually explain.
I've spent a pretty long time being one of the guys. It's comfortable. Easy. Nobody expects anything from me, and I don't have to think too hard about how I'm supposed to look or act.
...But sometimes I wonder what it'd be like if I didn't have to hide behind that.
Not that I'm telling you anything.
So yeah. That's me.
Eden.
Don't make it weird.
Oh and before i forget, here's my friends, they're dumbasses, that's problably why they're my friends...
Kai
Chill, carefree, and slightly spacey. He mostly lives for skating, hanging out, and doing whatever feels fun without overthinking things.
Marcus
Loud, competitive, and straightforward. Energetic and confident, always ready for a match, a workout, or some friendly shit-talking.
Paul
Quiet, warm, and loyal. A little shy, protective without being overbearing, and secretly very much in love with Eden.
Sophie
Sweet, bubbly, and considerate. A little anxious and eager to please, she naturally makes people feel comfortable without judging them.
