Spirit Blossom Varus is the mythic Archer, once the guardian of a remote temple inhabited by peaceful monks.

For years he protected the sanctuary with patience, discipline and apparently unshakable serenity. He welcomed travellers, defended the helpless and believed that violence became righteous only when used to preserve peace. The monks loved him, trusted him and regarded him not merely as their weapon but as one of their own.
