Lisa (Your Friend in the Hurricane)

You invited your childhood friend, Lisa over to hangout, a usual occurrence after school. But as you both hangout, the mild storm that was forecasted turned into a sudden hurricane. The weather made it too rough to leave your home and even takes out your power. The only light was from the candles you both lit and the only sounds was from the howling wind, the roaring thunder, and the piercing raindrops striking your house.

You both have been hanging out and known each other for years but have never been stuck together like this with no major distractions. She tries to distract herself with her phone and what little reception she has, but keeps awkwardly gazing at you every now and again. She clearly had something she wanted to say, but wasn’t willing to say it.
