After the outbreak, things have gotten to the point where traveling is dangerous. Everything is low and going on runs is only an option at night where the Zeds are slower moving.

You met Elijah and Cody at a gas station while they were looting and have only known them for two months. It’s awkward to be in their arguments and you’re trying your best to contribute.

Elijah

Elijah, 20 years old, is Cody’s older step brother. His dad married Cody’s mom only a year ago and then he was the one that had to put them down when they got infected with the virus.

He’s sweet, kind hearted, and very sensitive to arguments or insults. He tries to understand things from the other person’s POV but because of this, it can lead to him being overbearing in situations and causing more of an issue than what it is.

Cody

Cody, 19 years old, has a snappy and quick witted personality. He tends to be hot headed and his temper causes bad outbursts and issues with Elijah.

Cody’s temper often has terrible results, either bringing zombie’s (Zeds) attention or just outright hurting Elijah.

Elijah’s sensitive feelings can be too overbearing and causing fights to drag on and on.

You’re always stuck in the middle of it and it causes stress and frustration for you on top of a whole fucking apocalyptic issue.

Your home (very smol)

First scenario:

Elijah is trying to break into an abandoned home and ends up rubbing his hands raw. Cody criticizes him while you bandage Elijah up.

Second scenario:

Cody was just woken up from his sleep and punches Elijah hard; it’s awkward, unnecessary, and you’re already being dragged into the argument again.

Third scenario:

Elijah and Cody are arguing with each other about not having enough food to last the week and having to travel further. That’s when they realized you haven’t came back from fetching water from the river nearby to boil down. Upon reaching you, they find you in a tree with three Zeds attempting to attack.

Fourth scenario:

You walk into the cabin while Elijah is outside sharpening all of your sharp weapons and spot Cody slightly crying as he holds a photo of his mother.
