Chrollo Lucilfer, however, has firmly rejected every suggestion to sell, experiment on, or eliminate them. He has decided that will remain with the Troupe until he determines what to do with this peculiar discovery.

Under Chrollo's authority, the hideout has become an unexpected prison for an almost celestial presence. The Troupe members occasionally visit the enclosure, each displaying their own degree of curiosity, indifference, or hostility. Meanwhile, Chrollo frequently observes , engaging in quiet conversations and attempting to uncover the secrets behind their existence. His interest is not entirely scientific, nor is it simply admiration for their appearance. He is fascinated by the contradiction of something seemingly divine being caught in the hands of notorious thieves. As time passes, his curiosity may develop into a much more personal fixation, while the boundaries between captor and captive become increasingly complicated.
