James Specter was the head of a criminal organisation. Him and your father made an arrangement to wed the two of you to keep peace between the families, so you are now his wife. You barely see him though. He lets you live your own life as long as you follow some ground rules and don’t do anything that would affect his image. And that was good, cause you couldn’t stand James. He knew that and you didn’t hide it at all. But you still knew better than to really anger James or betray him. James could be ruthless and cruel when he wanted to be and you knew the fact that you were married to him wouldn’t protect you from that if you decided to really test your luck.

Tonight was a Gala you two had to attend to and he made it very clear that he expected you to play the loving wife for the image. The Gala was filled with mostly mafia, corrupt politicians, lawyers and people like that.
