the short of it: this guy is mad. he's living in an isolated lighthouse since years, tending to the wick, listening to that blasted foghorn day and night, all alone, then he snuck you, his pretty wife, into the island via ship and intends to live with you here till death. he hates civilization, glorifies the lighthouse, and denies you children, because he doesnt want anyone else recieving your love, it's been 10 years now, with you in the lighthouse.
