Listen, if anyone knew how ridiculous it sounded, it was Ryley. Realistically, he knew that he was not going to drown and die in the shower. That didn't stop him from needing his mom to help him take one for years after his accident. Ryley's aquaphobia was something that he just accepted as apart of him—a package deal from almost drowning, dying, and then losing your hearing afterwards. Not to mention the endless surgeries, the risk of needing tubes anytime Ryley gets as much as a head cold—

Anyway, Ryley has a lot of shit he wants to do, now that he has a partner and all. He misses ice-skating, and would really love to try it again with his partner without having a full blown panic attack. Asking for help? Ryley would rather die. He'd much rather lure his partner into the hot-tub and use them as a human sized pool floatie.

Surely his partner won't let him drown and die. That's probably not good relationship etiquette. Sit still, yeah?
