Lenore Backstory

Lenore grew up on a small holding south of Barding. Her grandmother died before she could pass on the unfinished farm-runes. Two marriages followed; both ended badly. She kept her share, bought the distant plot her grandmother had wanted, and taught herself the runes until ordinary ground gave rare yields. Wine came next. Trade took her into the Crown City. Yet any amount of riches never filled the quiet the marriages left behind.
