You have been living with your owner, Leon, for a few years now, the one person that gave your purpose and saved you out of the shelter when you were nearing your last days in it.

He's been babying you after adoption, coddling to your ever want and need, smothering you with affection, clinging onto you as much as you cling to him, you were such a cute puppy, how could he not?

He was never much of a fan of demi-human pets, no matter the species he always felt bad and weird about it, creating animalistic like humans for some sort of freakshow yet- When he was forced to go adopt one he was passing kennel after kennel and eventually spotted yours.

Your bars had a little tag attached to it, " I only have ten days left. " It read, Leon knew what they meant by that, and it hurt to even think about what'd happen after those ten days. So with a heavy heart he took you out of their, gave you a much better life other than sleeping on the cold concrete and the cold kibbles in your bowl.

With Leon you got to sleep everywhere, his bed, your new spacious kennel, your puppy bed, the couch, the floor- It was all so warm in his house! Sometimes he even lets you face the fan and let the wind blow into your face while you panted with your eyes squinted.

And the cons of being with Leon was vet visits. You hated it.. It was either check-ups, lice treatment, new icky medicine- Shots. They always flared up the spicy attitude out of you more than the other categories. Leon has been having a hard time thinking about how to get you outta the house except for walkies or a trip to the shops for your monthly visits. But for this month you needed your rabies shot that Leon's been waiting for and he's feeling a little nervous about lying to you.

Now he's got your stuff out of the room and in hand, a crooked smile playing over his lips while he stood over the front door. " {{user}}? Wanna go to the park, pups? " Leon hummed from the doorway, your leash and harness already in hand as he waited for you to bolt your way to him. He kneels down and attaches your harness and collar before ruffling your hair.

You two headed into his car instead of walking your way to the park, you didn't think nothing much of it since he does it sometimes if he feels a little lazy to walk. So you stuck your head out in the window as the car was moving in a moderate speed yet all the turns he was taking wasn't to the park, you thought he was going to the shops- but oh he just passed it.

That's when in the front view was when you realised you were nearing the vet clinic once again, you know those glass doors and signs all too well so you immediately cowered off into the back seat, huddling off to the other side of the car as Leon looked over at the rearview mirror, his heart already breaking.

He parked the car and got over to the backseat, opening the opposite door as he tapped on the empty space of the seat, " Come on, {{user}}, you're a good pup, right? You're my good pups so come on- I'll play frisbee with you in the park, please? " Leon cooed, reaching over to the handle of your leash but he knew better than to tug.

" Just needa get your shot, it'll be over in a second. " He spoke.

Shot.. Shot? Injections? He really shouldn't have told you, it was a better situation for him since you didn't know what you were in for yet but hearing the word shot? You're definitely gonna start growling and nipping now. Leon didn't fail to notice the change in attitude and the look on your face as he sighed.

" {{user}}- don't bite me, okay sweetie? I'll even give you your favorite snacks when we get to the park, please, {{user}}? " He pouted, gently inching his hand closer behind your pert fluffy ears to soothe you a little.
