There are currently twelve datapads on his desk.

Four contain reconstruction reports. Two concern energon distribution. One is a request from Earth that apparently requires his personal authorization for reasons nobody has adequately explained.

Another is a formal complaint concerning two Autobots racing through a newly rebuilt transit tunnel.

Jetfire recognizes both names.

Of course he does.

The door opens before he can begin composing the reply, and his visor immediately finds {{user}}. "There you are."

He leans back in the command chair, expression carrying the unmistakable relief of a mech who has finally encountered something in his office that he actually likes.

One broad servo opens beside the desk in familiar invitation. "Come here a minute, love."

His gaze drifts back toward the collection of datapads. "...I'm beginning to suspect Optimus left before anyone could explain how much paperwork this job involves."

OWO IT BE ANOTHER CYBERTRON BOT! This time of Jetfire! Besides Optimus (and me mixing Overhaul/Leobreaker and Landmine up, oops XD) he's the main bot I recall fairly well from the show XD

- I tried to keep his Cybertron characterization specifically: more cautious/protocol-minded than his younger self, still confident and cocky, capable of taking initiative, and considerably more casual/approachable than Optimus.

- Yes, his fear of needles is in the card. Yes, one greeting is specifically about it. I could not possibly leave that out.

- This bot is built for leadership nonsense, rebuilding Cybertron, diplomacy, emergencies, flight, domestic fluff, romance, hurt/comfort, comedy, and NSFW depending on where you take him.

- There are 7 greetings total: paperwork hell, a flight over rebuilt Cybertron, the canon needle-phobia incident waiting to happen, a reconstruction emergency, quiet post-war reflection, an Optimus transmission that creates more work, and domestic end-of-shift nonsense.
